Dr Khosro Fallahnezhad

Dr Khosro Fallahnezhad is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Medical Device Research Institute (MDRI) at Flinders University. In 2018 he completed his PhD on the fretting wear and corrosion damage of total hip replacements at Flinders University. Following the submission of his PhD thesis, he has worked on two industrial research projects, in the Rail Manufacturing Cooperative Research Centre (RMCRC) at the University of Queensland. As part of ARC CMIT he undertakes research on implant fixation and wear and tribocorrosion of implants. Dr Fallahnezhad is thrilled to be part of the ARC CMIT project and looks forward to develop novel methods for virtual assessment of orthopaedic devices to enhance clinical trials to planning and decision support.
