An inspiring evening for students from Oceania who have been awarded scholarships from the prestigious Amgen Scholars Program when Dr Jia-Yee Lee, Entreprise Fellow and Co-Centre Manager at ARC CMIT shared her career journey of how she traded her labcoat for a suit.
Amgen Scholars Program is an undergraduate summer research program in science and biotechnology supported by the Amgen Foundation. This is the first time that the program is held in the southern hemisphere. The program is hosted by the University of Melbourne with students residing in Queen's College as they undertake research during the summer.
