Discussions were focused on the
- Development and application of smart structures of 3D printed medical devices;
- Advances and challenges of 3D printing technology in orthopaedics;
- Evaluation of the safety and efficacy of 3D printed personalised implants; and
- Establishment of a quality evaluation system for 3D printed medical implants.
Further meetings are planned for 2020.
