ARC CMIT had the privilege of hosting a delegation from Shanghai Jaio Tong University, led by Professor Cheng-Kung Cheng from Nov 6-9, 2023. The group, including Prof Cheng, Panny Xu, QingQing (joint PhD student of SJTU and the University of Melbourne), and Kaixin He (Masters student), enjoyed their lab visit and explored the University of Melbourne surroundings.
A workshop involving PhD students featured presentations of their research projects. Prof Cheng concluded the workshop with a hybrid seminar on the future of orthopaedic hip joint implants and ACL injury repair. This visit marks the beginning of a promising collaboration between the two groups.
